Finca Botánico in Lanzarote is a three hundred year old farmhouse and has been totally reformed over the last few years. Moderate and comfortable accommodation is now offered in a very quiet location on the edge of the town of Guatiza, just a few minutes' drive to Arrieta beach and a few minutes' walk to Cesar Manrique's famous Cactus Garden.
The estate provides accommodation for up to 6 guests, divided between two fully secluded and independent spaces, each with its own private tropical patio – ideal for garden lovers. Also each unit has free WiFi, an outdoor shower, and outdoor seating and furniture.
The town of Guatiza is one of the greenest places in Lanzarote and remains with its authentic charm. The farm is surrounded by meadows that Lanzarote farmers still use to grow a variety of plants, including corn, cochineal cactus, onions, grapes, potatoes.
In the center of the village there is a supermarket, cashier, two bars, a restaurant and the society. Breathtaking scenery and various hiking trails are only a few meters from the house.
The Secret Garden
The Secret Garden Villa at Finca Botánica has been lovingly renovated to combine modern comforts with the charm of traditional island architecture. In some parts, the house is about 300 years old, with walls more than a meter wide.
It is an ideal choice for plant lovers because it boasts a lush, tropical garden courtyard with trees and shrubs that thrive here thanks to the high walls that also give guests plenty of privacy.
The garden is divided into some distinct and different areas, such as chill-out spaces, a dining room and barbecue, some shaded areas, an outdoor shower and comfortable hammocks for sunbathing. All then to get a relaxing time in the garden.
Inside, the villa has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, offering free 10MB WiFi, Smart TV with Spanish channels, dishwasher, washing machine and a very spacious kitchen, wood burning stove for those chilly nights and various other features. . Sheets, bath and beach towels are provided.
The focus of the house is the large living room-kitchen-dining room, which has wonderful views of the garden thanks to the glass and sliding doors that can be opened, joining the outside terrace with the inside of the house.
The Garden Apartment
The apartment was totally renovated two years ago and is independent from the rest of the estate, which is more than 300 years old. Enjoy a tropical garden as an outside lounge, with areas to eat, shower and also relax in the shade or sun.
Ideal accommodation for couples looking for a quiet area to connect with nature. The farm is located in Guatiza, on the outskirts and close to some hiking trails. Also the famous Cactus Garden, designed by César Manrique, is only a 5-minute walk from the farm.
The interior of the apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and good views from the windows. The bathroom is brand new with a spacious shower and marble tile. We provide bath and beach towels, as well as all bed linen.
In the living room, there is a new and comfortable sofa, a wood oven for a slightly chilly winter evening, a Smart TV with Internet connection. There are also armchairs and a dining table and the fully fitted kitchen again, with electric oven, new fridge and all the necessary equipment for cooking.
The apartment's garden is full of tropical plants, such as the Bengal fig, the Canarian dragon tree, giant strelitzia, orchids, aloe, bananas and hibiscus.
The apartment is located in the town of Guatiza, very close to the Cactus Garden. Also in the village there is an Italian restaurant, two bars, a supermarket, an ATM and hiking trails.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINCA BOTANICO
When you leave the airport, take the Arrecife / Ciudad exit. This will take you to the two lane highway that goes towards Arrecife.
After approx. After three kilometres, there is a gas station on your right and an exit on the left signposted "Circunvalación". Take this exit to the left and you will be on the ring road that goes around the outskirts of Arrecife.
Después de aproximadamente 1 kilómetro en la circunvalación, verá dos grandes señales, con salidas elevadas para Arrecife y un paso subterráneo para Costa Teguise y Orzola.
Tome el paso subterráneo señalizado azul para Costa Teguise / Orzola. Luego estará en un nuevo tramo de carretera durante aproximadamente 1 km más o menos hasta que la carretera tenga una salida a la derecha. Esta salida está señalizada para Orzola y Arrecife, mientras que la carretera principal continúa hacia Costa Teguise.
Tome la salida de Arrecife / Orzola, que llega a una pequeña rotonda después de unos 300 metros. Con la pequeña rotonda frente a usted y una salida a la derecha hacia Arrecife, dé la vuelta a la rotonda hacia la salida de Tahiche y Orzola, que pasa por debajo del paso subterráneo.
En el otro lado del paso subterráneo hay otra pequeña rotonda, que debe dar la vuelta para la salida de Tahiche. A continuación, estará en una autovía. Esta carretera doble lo lleva a través de Tahiche, donde ahora hay cuatro rotondas, una de las cuales tiene el famoso juguete de viento plateado de Manrique "Fobos" en el medio (actualmente se está restaurando, por lo que no está in situ).
Debe tomar la primera salida a la derecha en la cuarta rotonda, que le llevará más allá de la panadería LePain en dirección a Orzola. Esta es la carretera principal del Norte, la LZ1 y continúa hasta Guatiza.
The Guatiza exit is about 5 or 6 kilometers away and will also be signposted with the Cactus Garden. Take this exit, pass the gas station and take the next exit towards Guatiza. The road then enters the town of Guatiza after about 1 km.
Calle Tarajal is the second street on the left as you drive through town.
Turn onto Calle Tarajal and drive around two big curves in the road. Then you should be near number 30, which is Finca Botanico.
